Laura attended the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, Washington.  While Washington's state requirement is 650 hours, Laura took Brenneke's Extended Professional License Program and graduated with over 1000 hours in training, which included: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Injury Prevention, Injury Treatment, Pregnancy and spa practices.

Becca attended ICT Kikkawa College in Toronto, Ontario.  Although North Carolina only require 500 hours, she felt that this did not allow enough time to learn about the human body; she discovered the ICT program by accident and was impressed with its 2200 hour program.  The courses they offered her included Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Injury Treatment, Myofascial, and Suikodo, a version of Shiatsu. 

Becca has since taken Continuing Education courses for Thai Bodywork, an eastern practice that is somewhere between massage and assisted yoga; and Nurturing the Mother ®, which includes not just pregnancy massage but also some fertility, labor, and post-partum work to help the couple through the whole birthing event.

Becca's work background includes spas, Occupation Therapy Clinics, and health clubs.  Her focus is working with athletes of all levels to help them reach their highest potential; however, a varied background allows her to custom tune a massage for relaxation or general health, and she is looking forward to adding pregnancy work with her new clients.
